Announcements

Reminder: The problem sets are written in chronological order. You should be able to complete the first two questions as soon as you get the problem set. You should be able to complete the entire problem set by the end of the first week. You therefore have more than an entire additional week to work and refine your answers.

Also, the TAs request that you turn in answers to each problem on separate pages. This would help us separate different problems for grading.

New Course Policies:

* If you attempt questions 1 and 2 and show your work to a TA by the first Friday after distribution, you will be awarded 10 extra credit points.

* Your problem sets will be graded and returned by the Wednesday after they are due. You will have two days (until 5 pm Friday) to redo any sections you choose. Explain what you did wrong as well as give a correct answer for credit. This is only applicable to parts you made an effort to answer the first time around-- skipped sections and gibberish do not count. Please turn in corrections attached to your original graded answers.
